Chris Silver Smith is the PPC Expert Witness with a lengthy background experience in providing litigation support and testimony expertise for cases involving online marketing.
Chris Silver Smith first provided legal testimony on behalf of the United States Department of Justice in an informal hearing set by D.O.J. attorneys in order to try to determine whether proposed partnership agreements between Microsoft and Yahoo! (a.k.a. “Microhoo deal”) might pose an unacceptable risk to consumers of search engine services, since this would sharply reduce the playing field of top U.S. search engines from three to two (Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! were the dominant search engines at the time, and the Microhoo deal would essentially reduce this to just Google and Microsoft, as Yahoo!’s search services would be served by Microsoft (whose search engine is now named “Bing”).
